1. Acceptance of Agreement

By accessing, browsing, searching, or registering an account on the Nahor Assamese Dictionary platform (https://koustubhdas.com/nahor), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must discontinue using the site immediately.

2. Permitted Use and System Safety

Nahor provides tools for dual-directional Assamese-English word searches, conceptual reverse definitions, and spelling lookups. Users agree to use these features solely for personal, educational, or professional linguistic research.

• Automated Scraping: Automated scraping, data harvesting, systematic copying, or bulk extraction of the word corpus and vocabulary records without express written permission is strictly prohibited.
• Platform Security: Users must not attempt to bypass web resource controls, upload malicious scripts, exploit vulnerabilities, or inject data structures meant to degrade the hosting infrastructure.

3. User Contributions and Content Submissions

registered users and community members may submit definitions, parts of speech, and contextual usage examples via our collection forms. By submitting any content to Nahor, you guarantee and agree to the following terms:

• Accuracy and Sourcing: Submissions must be linguistically accurate and culturally appropriate. Plagiarizing proprietary intellectual property or copyright-protected reference frameworks from commercial publications is prohibited.
• Irrevocable Content License: By submitting words or data, you grant Nahor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable right to publish, edit, modify, format, translate, and distribute your contribution as part of our dictionary database.
• Attribution: Approved public entries will feature the submitter’s specified username as a reference contributor to record and acknowledge community collaboration.

4. Administrative Oversight and Moderation

The administration retains absolute, unappealable discretion over all content stored within the application database. Administrators reserve the right to review community suggestions, modify grammatical errors, adjust incorrect definitions, change structural categories (such as Parts of Speech), or permanently delete entries that do not align with our objective of maintaining high linguistic accuracy. Account profiles found distributing spam or offensive definitions will be terminated immediately.

5. Intellectual Property

The platform architecture, underlying software codebase (Laravel, Blade engine designs), user interface layout components, styling definitions, and the compiled, corrected vocabulary database of over 20,000 entries constitute protected digital intellectual property belonging to the site operator.

6. Limitation of Liability and Data Accuracy Disclaimer

Nahor is an ongoing, community-supported project. While the base dataset features comprehensive corrections of legacy errors, all linguistic materials, meanings, spellings, and usage guidelines are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind. Nahor does not guarantee that the database is entirely error-free and will not be held liable for any academic, professional, or technical inaccuracies resulting from the usage of data found on this site.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior individual notice. Continued use of the platform following updates implies full agreement with the revised terms.
