Important Intellectual Property Notice: Not all linguistic data within this application is open source. While we rely on foundational datasets for basic word lists, significant portions of this dictionary are proprietary content unique to this application. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Refined and modernized English definitions.
  • Updated and verified Parts of Speech (PoS) tags.
  • Original example sentences and contextual usage notes.
  • Customized Assamese translations and grammatical improvements.

Unauthorized scraping, automated harvesting, copying, or redistribution of this proprietary data is strictly prohibited and protected under copyright law.

Open Source Attribution

Certain foundational word lists and linguistic data used in the initial development of this project were obtained from XOBDO.ORG under the MIT License. We highly value the Xobdo team's commitment to the preservation and promotion of Northeast Indian languages.
